Lovely relaxed stay We had a lovely, relaxed weekend stay. The views from the front of the house are stunning. Richard and Lynn keep a clean and tidy house with everything you could possibly need. Richard even rang us as we were about to leave to inform us of a road closure and advised us of a better route. Thanks for the tea/coffee and wine, it was a lovely touch.

Fantastic House in a wonderfull location, with views to die for. The house is in a great location with the most wonderfull panoramic fell views. Everything in the house was clean and well presented including the garden areas. A home from home with plenty of space for everyone. We did not want to leave this lovely house and would not hesitate to come back. Communication with the owners was really good, checking to make sure we had directions and enough information before we set off on our journey. Could not fault anything, plus all furnishings were of good standard and up todate decor. Portinscale is a lovely village and is a great base for visiting and getting to other areas of the lake district with ease.

A wonderful place to stay in the Lakes Riggside is a spacious , very well equipped and tastefully furnished semidetached residence. It was lovely to look out at the hills watching the ever changing skyline, sometimes hidden by the clouds and sometimes highlighted by the sun. Nearby there is The Farmers Arms, a bustling, friendly pub where wholesome food is served at a reasonable price. We enjoyed a number of walks, in particular the one to Lingholme where we had a tasty lunch after looking around the walled garden.

Comfortable house Lovely, comfortable tastefully decorated house, which has everything you could possibly need. There were 7 adults staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. There are lots of good walks nearby. Richard and Lynn are the perfect hosts and kept communication open before and whilst we were there. We were celebrating a big birthday and they kindly left Prosecco and chocolates.

An ideal property in the Lake District We stayed at this house for four weeks back in 2017 and found it was ideal for exploring the Lake District. Our stay in June-July 2023 was equally very satisfactory. The property has everything one could wish, and is centrally located with ready access to all parts of the District.

We couldn't have chosen any better We loved the perfect location with scenic views, the beautiful, well equipped house, quiet neighbourhood, ample parking and friendly service. Lake District was the highlight of our 6 week UK trip and it was a delight to finish it at one of the best accommodations we stayed at. Two very small suggestions for improvement would be to provide pre logged in subscriptions for the television streaming services and to be a little more generous with bathroom products. These were only minor negatives and we overall loved our stay. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return some day.

Beautiful holiday home for large family. Fantastic spacious home with everything you could need for a large family of 8. The location was perfect, it was a scenic walk into Keswick Town, there was a pub at the bottom of the road and lots of different local walks. Will be coming back to Riggside as soon as we can. Thank you Richard and Lynn
